I’ve been thinking…

Driving along in silence today, the passage in Matthew 25 came to mind where Jesus reminds us that whatever we do to or for others, we have done to Him.  That is a sobering thought, is it not? In other words, if I treat you–my neighbor, friend, acquaintance, co-worker, stranger or family member badly, in effect I have not only hurt that person directly, but I have also hurt Jesus. And, when I stop to assist a child, feed a hungry person, minister to the sick,  or give a hug and an encouraging word to someone, I have done it to Him.

Hmmm, that brings more awareness to my daily interactions, especially with difficult people or frustrating circumstances, and choosing to make them positive, compassionate  and loving .
